Wingnuts win 8th straight


KANSAS CITY, Kansas – – The Wichita Wingnuts won its eighth consecutive game Friday night with an 8 to 3 victory of the Kansas City T-Bones.

The eight game win streak in the third longest in team history.

A two-out double by Colt Loehrs in the fourth inning gave Wichita a 2 to 1 lead for good.

Justin Klipp picked up the win, surrendering two run, one earned run by scattering eight hits in eight inning. Klipp recorded one strikeout and one walk.

All Wingnuts starters reached base.
