WICHITA, Kansas – Each Tuesday, KSN News at Noon features a Wild Side segment with animals you can see around Kansas or at least in a nearby zoo.

Today, Lorri Beck with the Great Plains Nature Center, brought in a couple of the 31 amphibians known to Kansas – a Barred Tiger Salamander and a Woodhouse’s Toad.

The salamander sat quietly during the segment, but the toad kept things hopping.

Click on the video link to see it take a dive, twice.
