Sedgwick County opening an area for tree limb debris

WICHITA, Kansas – Sedgwick County is opening an area to bring tree limb debris after last Thursday’s storm.

The site, at 63rd St South and Meridian will open at 1 p.m. Wednesday for Sedgwick County residents, cities, townships, and businesses free of charge.

Sedgwick County Public Works will have tree debris and a loader on site to help people locate the site.

The burn site will remain available throughout the month of July, including the July 4th holiday.

The burn site is intended for tree and brush debris only.

Fences, structure remains, bulky waste, and all other trash will not be accepted.
