WICHITA, KansasA semi-truck hauling cattle overturned just after midnight at the K-96 and Maize Road interchange northwest of Wichita.

The driver of the truck wasn’t seriously hurt.

The truck was carrying 26 cows.  Four were put down due to injuries sustained in the accident.

Investigators believe the driver may have fallen asleep and lost control of his rig.

Traffic on K-96 was re-routed to the on-off ramps at Maize Road.

Crews have since reopened K-96.
