Wingnuts lose close game at Grand Prairie


GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – – Brandon Kendricks drove in the winning run in a 2 to 1 decision over the Wichita Wingnuts Tuesday night.

Kendricks hit a ball to shortstop to score Kenny Held to give Grand Prairie a 2 to 1 advantage in the fifth. The Wingnuts tried to rally for runs late to no avail.

Justin Klipp took the tough luck loss for Wichita giving up two earned runs and scattering six hits over seven innings of work. Klipp only one walked one.
