Man critical after stabbing in north Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas — A man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after a stabbing in north Wichita early Saturday morning, police said.

It happened just after 3 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Woodland.

The 25-year-old victim was taken to Via Christi on Saint Francis hospital with a stab wound to his abdomen and a cut on his head from an unknown object.

The suspect, a 26-year-old man known to police, is still at large.

No further information on the incident was available.
