6 mile long fire ravages Reno County wheat fields

RENO COUNTY, Kansas — A large grass fire broke out Saturday just west of Hutchinson, dispatchers said.

The 6 mile long fire ravaged wheat fields near Highway 50 and Partridge road.

Authorities said a camper driving by may have sparked the fire.

No injuries have been reported.
