Sheriff’s department investigating large theft of copper

WICHITA, Kansas – The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a large copper theft.

It happened between June 21st at 11 p.m. and June 22nd at 7:30 a.m.

Police say an unknown person entered a business in the 10000 block of North 247th Street West and took several spools of copper wire.

The total loss was $57,000.
