Trial date set in case of murdered Wichita teen

Jordan Turner

WICHITA, Kansas — The three people  charged in the murder of a Wichita teen will stand trial.

Erick Jackson, Ebony Nguyen and Kristoffer Wright were in court for a preliminary hearing to determine if there’s enough evidence to send the case to trial.

The judge ruled that the case will go to trial on August 19th.

Nineteen-year-old Jordan Turner’s body was found in a field southeast of Wichita by a farmer in early May.

The three were arrested days after Turner’s body was discovered and their bond was set at one-million dollars.
