Woman on meth throws sword at great-grandmother

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police say they arrested a woman after she threw a sword at her great-grandmother.

It happened around 11:50 Sunday evening in the 3100 block of South Euclid.

Police say the woman was doing meth and became paranoid that someone was going to get her.

She took a sword and threw it at her 82-year-old great-grandmother.

The sword luckily missed her.

A sister tried to restrain the suspect before police arrived, but she was pushed out of the home.

Officers arrived and took the woman into custody.

She was booked on aggravated assault and domestic violence.
