Man critical after east Wichita stabbing

WICHITA, Kansas — A man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after he was stabbed multiple times in east Wichita on Sunday, police said.

Sgt. Bart Brunscheen of the Wichita Police Department said it happened at a home in the 900 block of South Mission at about 2:20 a.m.

The victim then flagged down a driver near Harry and Webb, after which he was rushed to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition with stab wounds to his left foot and right torso.

Sgt. Brunscheen said police were left with little to work with, however, since the man refused to cooperate when questioned about the incident.
