WICHITA, Kansas — A man was brutally beaten by his opponents after he defeated them in the popular drinking game, beer pong, police said Sunday.
Sgt. Bart Brunscheen of the Wichita Police Department said the 25-year-old victim was at a house party near Pawnee and Oliver playing the popular drinking game early Sunday morning.
After he repeatedly defeated two other men, they became angry and attacked him.
The victim reports one man punched him several times in the face, and the other man hit him in the head with a 2-by-4 piece of lumber.
He was taken to the hospital with cuts to his face and head, requiring seven stitches and two staples.
Police are working to track down the suspects.
