Two men killed in crash in Riley County

MANHATTAN, Kansas — Two men were killed in a fatal crash in Riley County Tuesday afternoon.

It happened just before 4 p.m. in the 4600 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard in Manhattan.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 90-year-old Frederick Danenberg and 85-year-old Michael Myers were in a passenger car leaving a state park.

The patrol says the vehicle was trying to cross Highway 24 when it was hit by a semi.

Both men were from Manhattan.
