Several Kansas towns set record highs on Tuesday

GARDEN CITY, Kansas – Several Kansas cities had record highs Tuesday.

In Hill City, the temperature reached 111 degrees breaking an old record of 106 degrees back in 1953.

Garden City had a high temperature of 108 degrees breaking a record from 1953.

Goodland was just one degree cooler at 107 degrees breaking a 2001 record.
