HOUSTON, Texas (KPRC) – Homicide investigators in Houston, Texas are trying to find out what lead to a deadly beating.
Authorities said it began with an argument between a man and a woman.
Just before 4 a.m. Sunday, police responded to an emergency call from a woman who said she was being beaten inside a Parklane condominium.
When officers arrived, 44-year-old Ana Lilia Trujillo answered the door.
“They proceeded to Unit 18B, a female opened the door and officers stepped inside and found the male inside deceased,” said Brian Evans of the Houston Police Department.
A 59-year-old man, who lived in the condo, was found beaten and lying on the floor between the kitchen and the foyer, surrounded by a large amount of blood.
Investigators said the man was beaten to death with a stiletto pump.
