WICHITA, Kansas – – Jon Link and three Wichita relievers scattered seven hits as the Wingnuts shutout the El Paso Diablos 1 to nothing Thursday night at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

The Wingnuts scored the game’s single run in the fifth. Jared McDonald hit a ground rule double over win over the center field fence. Ryan Khoury delivered a base hit scoring McDonald.

Wichita hits the road for a weekend series at St. Paul beginning Friday night. The next home game will be Friday, June 14th against St. Paul at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium part of a seven-game homestand.
