Authorities looking for thief who took 275 gallons of gas

WICHITA, Kansas — The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a person who took 275 gallons of unleaded gas from the Sedgwick County Public Works facility.

It happened between May 31st and June 3rd at 2200 South Webb Road.

The suspect cut the security fence and padlock from the gas pump to gain access to the fuel.

The damages are estimated at $385 with a loss of $1,070.
