DENVER, Colorado (KUSA) – A curious young moose bull appears to have fallen for a statue installed in a yard in Grand Lake, Colorado.
The statue went up less than a week ago, and for the past few days neighbors have been taking pictures and videos of the bull moose approaching – and mounting – the statue.
Bob Balink is a neighbor, one of many, who has witnessed the moose.
“There’s two things he wants to do. And one of ’em is eat,” said Balink.
“The strange thing is he’s trying to mate with a statue,” added Balink.
Both the bull moose and the statue are males.
