Wingnuts open home stand with win over El Paso

WICHITA, Kansas – – Ryan Hinson allowed two earned runs over eight innings as the Wichita Wingnuts defeated the El Paso Diablos 9 to 2 at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

C.J. Ziegler homer to lead off the fourth inning for Wichita tying the game at 1-all.  David Amberson’s two-run single gave the Wingnuts the lead.

Ziegler and Jake Kahaulelio each extended their hitting streaks to nine games.

The series continues Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m.
