Arrest made in fatal Saline Co. hit and run


SALINA, Kansas — Lewis Grider, 62, of Salina, was arrested Friday in connection to a fatal hit and run earlier the same day, according to a statement released by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office.

Saline County investigator Timothy Hoesli said Grider was arrested at 9:30 p.m., less than 12 hours after police say he accidentally hit a bicyclist from behind with his van in the 3500 block of West Crawford, and then left the scene.

Grider was booked for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Gail Kline, 49, of Delphos.
