Wichita beats Sioux Falls


SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota – – The Wichita Wingnuts picked up their fourth straight victory with a 5 to 4 decision over the Sioux Falls Canaries.

Jake Kahaulelio infield single with two away in the top of the ninth broke a 4-all tie. Jared McDonald doubled and went to third on a wild pitch before Kahaulelio beat a ground ball to third base allowing McDonald to score.

Lincoln Holdzkom got the win with Josh Dew pitching the ninth and getting John Alonso to strike out to record the save.

The same two teams meet Saturday night in Sioux Falls.
