WICHITA, Kansas (NBC News) — It’s all eyes on the sky across the central US today as another round of potentially fierce tornadoes is predicted and it follows a fairly active day for twisters mainly in Kansas.

Storm chasers near Tescot, Kansas caught video of a tornado just as it was forming and wasn’t long before it became massive as it made its way toward Bennington.

It was one of at least two tornadoes that swept across northeastern Kansas on Tuesday.

The one in Corning north of Topeka was much more destructive, 18 buildings heavily damaged, including six that were leveled.

Overnight, however, a possible twister in Mt. Morris Township and Genesee Michigan left one person hurt and lots of damage.

At least a five block area has suffered severe damage Residents say there was a tornado warning posted for the area but no siren when the winds gathered strength.

There are warnings, however, for the Midwest and into the Northeast again today as well as tomorrow as may proves again to be the active month for tornadoes.
