Man accused of trying to sell fake DVD’s

WICHITA, Kansas – A man was taken into custody Monday night in Wichita, accused of trying to sell pirated videos.
Police were called to the parking lot of the QuikTrip at 5602 East Harry about 8:30 p.m.
They found a 37-year-old man standing beside a vehicle, and inside were several DVD’s that appeared to have been copied, including two titles that are currently showing in local theatres.
Authorities seized 138 videos, including copies of current titles “The Fast & Furious 6″ and “The Pain Gain.”
The federal government has guidelines on making and selling DVD’s, and the case will be presented to federal prosecutors.
It is also illegal to purchase pirated DVD’s.
