Man critically injured in loader tractor accident

HUTCHINSON, Kansas — A Reno County man has been rushed to a Wichita hospital after getting hit in the head.

According to the Reno County Sheriff’s office, Terry Fehrenbach, 61, and his wife Tana were using a loader tractor to pull out fence posts Monday. Something went wrong and the loader hit Terry in the head.

Reno County deputies, Hutchinson Fire, Reno County EMS and Life Team helicopter responded to the accident in the 4500 block of East 69th around 1 p.m.

The victim was flown to Wesley Medical Center with critical head injuries.
