Beta-carotene, Vitamin C and potassium makes this smoothie the perfect post-workout boost.
- 1 banana
- 1/4 ripe ripe cantaloupe, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 1/2 tbs. fresh lime juice
- 2 tsp. honey
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Place your banana in the freezer overnight. Don’t remove the peel.
In the morning, remove banana from the freezer and let it sit until the skin begins to soften – about 2-3 minutes.
Remove the skin and cut into chunks.
Combine the chunks in a blender or food processor with the cantaloupe, almond milk, lime juice, honey and vanilla.
Cover and blend until smooth.
