GARY, Indiana – – C. J. Ziegler homered but the Gary SouthShore RailCats won a pitchers duel in a 2 to 1 contest Tuesday.

Ari Ronick pitched six innings, giving up one run with four hits in the victory.

Wichita starter Jon Link allowed two on a double by Drew Martinez. An argument on whether the ball was caught in the outfielder brought out Wingnuts Manager Kevin Hooper. Hooper was ejected from the game.

Ziegler’s home run was his fourth of the season.

The two teams play a matinee Wednesday beginning at 11:10 a.m.
