Tornado near Wichita now rated as an EF-2

WICHITA, Kansas – A tornado that touched down near Wichita on Sunday is now rated an EF-2 according to the National Weather Service.

This tornado initially touched down around 5 miles north of Clearwater and traveled northeast for around 4.5 miles.

The tornado rating was upgraded to an EF-2 based on information from the Doppler on Wheels radar data.

This means it produced winds up to 135 mph.
