HUTCHINSON, Kansas — The Reno County sheriff wants to know who abandoned three dogs in an animal carrier along a road.

Deputies were called to an area just south of 4th on Dean Road just before 5 p.m. Thursday.

They found three dogs in one animal crate.

They are working it as a case of animal cruelty.
