Marquis Marshall won’t face the death penalty

Marquis Marshall

WICHITA, Kansas — Marquis Marshall, the man accused of killing 79-year-old Henry Harvey and 22-year-old Zachary Hunt last November at a Dollar General Store near 13th and Oliver, won’t face the death penalty.

State prosecutors decided that instead they will try for life without parole.

The judge in the case entered a not guilty plea on Marshall’s behalf.

A tentative trial date has been set for July 8th.
