Man forced into car, wallet taken

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police are investigating a robbery from a 54-year-old man.

It happened around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of North Oliver.

According to police, the man was walking on Oliver when a green, four door Ford with tiger style seat covers pulled up.

Two suspects forced the man inside telling the victim he would be shot.

The suspects stole the man’s wallet.

During the robbery, the suspects struck another car at Central and Oliver.

Three people witnessed the accident and called it in.

Eventually, the car ended up in the 6000 block of East Lincoln where the victim was able to escape.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic man. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.

He has gray hair and was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect is a black man. He is 20 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs 200 pounds.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black ball cap.
