Former Derby school employee sentenced for child sex crimes

DERBY, Kansas — A former Derby school employee has been sentenced to prison for a child sex crimes.

Alfred Rocheleau, 71, will spend 32 months behind bars for aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

The crime did not happen at Derby Hill Elementary where he worked, but after his arrest in January of last year, Rocheleau was fired.
