Kansas defeats Wichita State 7 to 5

Wichita, Kansas – – The Kansas Jayhawks scored five times in the fifth inning en route to a 7 to 5 victory over the Wichita State Shockers Tuesday night at Eck Stadium.

Connor McKay three run triple in fifth inning broke open the contest.

Garrett Bayliff led Wichita State with 3 hits in the contest. Micah Green added to the scoring with first homer of the season.

Wichita State hosts Creighton in the Bluejays final appearances in Wichita beginning Friday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Kansas will host Kansas State in its final Big 12 Conference series this year.
