SAN DIEGO, California (CNN) – He used a giant billboard to propose and 10 years later a California man is digging into his old bag of tricks to make his anniversary memorable.
This 48-foot-wide billbloard on State Route 94 in Rancho San Diego is turning heads.
Robert Zakar is the man behind this anniversary message placed for all to see.
He says he kept the proposal billboard in his garage and decided to pull it out for his 10th Anniversary.
Robert Zakar said, “I figured, why not? I did it 10,11 years ago. Let me do it again. It worked so well the first time. It did, it did. It kept her around for 10 years.”
Zakar says he has a simple slogan for his marriage: “Keep it fun, keep it exciting and hopefully he and his wife will share the rest of their lives together.
