3 formally charged in the death of Jordan Turner

WICHITA, Kansas — Three people have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Jordan Turner whose body was discovered in a field last Wednesday.

Ebony Nguyen, Eric Jackson, Kristopher Wright all made a first appearance Tuesday afternoon.

All are being held on a $1 million bond with their preliminary hearings set for May 21.

Emmalynn Spencer was arrested but not charged.

Investigators said Friday that Turner was shot at least twice either on or near March 31.

The arrests came after tips to Crime Stoppers.

Turner’s father reported him missing on April 6, after his son left their home March 30.

Turner was a star football player at Wichita South High, where he graduated in 2011.
