WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police want to remind residents to lock their doors at night.

Early Monday, a 22-year-old man woke up and found his computer and wallet missing in the 2300 block of West 2nd Street.

Overnight, he left a kitchen and garage door open.

“Someone came into the garage and entered through the kitchen door that was attached to the garage,” said Lt. Doug Nolte, Wichita Police Department. “Be diligent in locking doors and garage doors.”

Police say the man found his wallet behind the home.

It was missing all of his money.

Police say they do not have a description of the suspect.
