Wichita State wins conference tournament in record fashion

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Missouri – – The Wichita State men’s golf team won the Missouri Valley Conference tournament by a record margin Tuesday.

The Shockers crushed second place Illinois State by 32 stroke at Dalhousie County Club.

WSU’s Rafael Becker was the medalist with a 6-under-par 210, leading teammate Hunter Sparks by four shots.

Coach Grier Jones and the rest of the squad will be a part of the NCAA Selection Show on May 6.
