Hundreds of pounds of unused medications collected in Sedgwick County

WICHITA, Kansas — The National Take Back initiative, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration in cooperation with the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, was held on Saturday.

A combined total of 723.7 pounds of expired or unused medications were collected in the Sedgwick County area.

Sheriff’s Office personnel supervised three drop off locations between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
