Fireman arrested for 14 counts of arson

HUTCHINSON, Kansas — A Reno County firefighter was arrested and booked into the Reno County Jail on 14 counts of arson on Friday.

Cody Knox was booked for charges of arson that allegedly occurred between October 16 and November 27 of 2012.

Knox was attending Hutchinson Community College studying Fire Science and was a volunteer of Reno County District 4.

Knox was released on a $75,000 bond.

His first appearance in court is scheduled for Friday.
