WICHITA, Kansas — Wichita police arrested two men and one woman for several mail box thefts Thursday evening.

An officer noticed a vehicle description that was given out in several of the thefts at Eagle Rock Village and MacArthur Lake Apartments earlier this week.

The officer stopped the vehicle at 9th and Madison, and a K-9 cop also responded.

“A search of the car revealed there in fact was some meth in the car as well as when they went through the car they found several items of mail, as well as several financial cards that can be tied back to at least four cases of mail theft from both Eagle Rock Apartments and MacArthur Lakes Apartments,” said Lt. Doug Nolte, Wichita Police Department.

All three were taken into custody and booked into the adult detention facility for unlawful use of financial cards, mail theft and unlawful possession of drugs.
