Man flown to Wichita after being critically injured in Great Bend accident

GREAT BEND, Kansas — A man was critically injured in car crash in Great Bend and had to flown to Wichita.

It happened just after noon on Friday.

Police say a car failed to yield the right away at Eisenhower and Patton Road and hit an SUV.

The SUV rolled several times, and the man was thrown from the vehicle.

He suffered head injuries.
