WICHITA, Kansas — The Wichita State pitching staff gave up only one hit in against Oral Roberts Wednesday night at Eck Stadium.
The Shockers beat the Golden Eagles 8-to-nothing.
Garrett Brummett was the WSU starter giving up one hit and striking out five in the victory.
Three Shocker relivers threw hitless ball over the final four frames.
Garrett Bayliff drove in two with two away in the bottom of the second. Bayliff had three hits in the game.
Wichita State returns to Missouri Valley Conference action Friday afternoon against Southern Illinois.
The game in Carbondale is set to begin at 3 p.m.
