NEW YORK CITY — Former KFYR anchor A.J. Clemente, who was fired after saying a profanity on air, made an appearance on the Today Show Wednesday.
Clemente says he isn’t upset at the station’s decision.
He told Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie that he didn’t realize the mistake until about the third break when his news director approached him about it.
Clemente says he apologized to the station.
