Wichita, Kansas — Hard to believe that it is late April and there is once again a chance of snow and freezing temperatures in the forecast for Kansas, but it is true.
After a pretty nice finish to the weekend with highs in the 60s and 70s, another front will arrive, and by Tuesday, highs will be in the 40s with lows in the 20s and 30s by Wednesday morning. Snowflakes could fall across the entire area, but the locations with the highest chance of any accumulation will be along the I-70 corridor.
Temperatures will warm up nicely again by the weekend with highs back into the 70s statewide by Friday and 60s and 70s on Saturday.
Farmers and gardeners should prepare for another widespread frost and freeze with record-cold temperatures Wednesday morning.
