Two arrested in fake cop case

WICHITA, Kansas — Wichita police have made an arrest in the case of a police impersonator.

It stems from an incident that happened Tuesday night near 13th and Maize Road.

A woman says a Ford Bronco pulled up behind her with red and blue lights flashing from its visor. The vehicle was white on top with blue paint on the bottom.

The woman did not pull over and the vehicle eventually passed her. She copied down part of its license plate and called police.

On Thursday afternoon, Wichita Police arrested two men, ages 20 and 21.

They plan to release more information in the case Friday morning.
