Boil water advisory rescinded for Hays mobile home park

TOPEKA, Kansas — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded the boil water advisory for the Country View Mobile Home Park public water system in Hays.

The boil water advisory was issued on Jan. 9 because the Country View Mobile Home Park owner/manager had failed to monitor and maintain the public water supply for the mobile home park in accordance with state and federal drinking water requirements.

Laboratory testing on samples collected indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
