GARDEN CITY, Kansas — The cold front that moved through Kansas early Tuesday morning caused a significant drop in temperatures.

In Garden City, the temperature at midnight was 65 but dropped to 32 degrees by mid afternoon.

Another issue was wind.

Gusts ranged from 40 to 45 mph.

There was also a mix of light sleet and snow.

Officials say there were no major road closures or accidents to report due to the wind.
