Kansas State’s runs ends in WNIT

MANHATTAN, Kansas — Senior Brittany Chambers closed out her Kansas State career with 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 54 to 46 loss to Utah in the semifinals of the Women’s National Invitational Tournament Wednesday night.

Senior Mariah White chipped in six points and five rebounds. Haley Texada and Chantay Caron each had 11 points for the Wildcats.

The defeat snapped K-State 13-game Bramlage Coliseum winning streak in the WNIT.

In 12 seasons, Kansas State made the postseason 11 times. Next season, they will bring back five players that had significant playing time this year.
