WICHITA, Kansas — Cessna is offering some employees early retirement.The company says it’s a voluntary separation program.
Workers, who are at least 55 years old and are not involved in making planes, have until April 12th to sign up.
Their last day of work will be May 3rd.
A company spokesman says it’s an effort to streamline the business.
“Cessna continually evaluates our operations so we can be effective in meeting the needs of our customers and in achieving our business objectives,” said a company spokesperson.
