WICHITA, Kansas — Wichita police say a 61-year-old man with a California ID was found at the intersection of Pinecrest and Orme.

A pair of boys playing in a creek made the discovery around 3 p.m. Saturday.

Police say there are no visible signs of trauma.

“Natural or medical possibly. We won’t know until the autopsy’s been completed,” said Sgt. Scott Brunow, Wichita Police Department.

Neighbors say they had seen the victim walking in the area before he was found dead.

The Sedgwick County Coroner’s Office is conducting the autopsy.
