WICHITA, Kansas — It seems like everyone has advice for the Shockers on how to win, but for this game, Wichita State is hearing from some of its youngest fans.

The students at College Hill Elementary wrote letters to the players.

The first graders gave their thoughts on how the team can win.

Here is what they said.

“Don’t look down. Someone might steal the ball. Shoot the ball. Make sure that you don’t foul. I believe in you.”

“Be a good player, do not forget to tie your shoes.”

“Beat La Salle. Dunk it. Dribble the ball. You rock. Clapping.”

The class agreed on one important piece of advice for the Shockers.

“Play Angry!”
